Just Text Giving info

What is it?
JustTextGiving is the UK’s first ever free text donation service which will open up the power and potential of text giving to every single charity in the country.  Both individuals and every charity, big or small, will now be able to use text messages to raise funds – with no set up or running costs for charities, no network charges for people making donations and every penny, plus Gift Aid, going to charity.

Why should I use it?
100% of your text donation will go to the charity and there are no fees for this service.  As soon as you see your charity’s unique six-digit code, you can donate instantly to their appeal .  There's no cost to you for sending the text message and your free allowance/bundle won’t be deducted.

How do I use it?
Charities across the UK will be sharing their unique JustTextGiving codes on posters, emails, advertising and more.  All you have to do is text the charities code along with your donation amount to 70070.  This donation amount will then be charged to your phone bill as usual (or deducted from your pay as you go credit).

(example: Suppose the charity code is UHCT01 and you want to donate £10.  To make your donation you'd send the text UHCT01 £10 to the number 70070)

·         The minimum amount per donation is £1.

·         The maximum amount per donation is £10.

·         Donations can only be in the amount of £1, £2, £3, £4, £5, and £10.

·         An individual can give a maximum of £30 per day (e.g. three text donations of £10 each).
